Description: The system update
service is intended to update two aspects of a server, The first
being application level servers and the second being installed
software. We check systems with grate detail to find all installed
software and check for applicable updates.
For server software we check for such things including:
- apache
- smtp software
- ftp software
- pop3/imap software
- mysql
- ssh
- control panel updates [ensim, plesk, cpanel]
and any other running/installed services.
And for installed software we update things such as:
- wget
- php
- python
- openssl
- glibc
- gcc
- gd
- rsync
- pine
and all other available updates for installed software.
To that point this service is encompassing of all software on
a server to ensure it is all updated for relevant security &
bug fixes. A must-priority for newly deployed web appliances
and recommended of any appliance yet to receive a full system
update.

Turbo Linux
